Discipline, respect, and delayed gratification have nearly vanished in our country. Instead of a passionate debate with a respected opponent, a decision is made to cancel the person whose viewpoint does not align with ours, making them insignificant. This is a very slippery slope to travel because lack of trust and skepticism set in.
