Discipline, respect, and delayed gratification have nearly vanished in our country. Instead of a passionate debate with a respected opponent, a decision is made to cancel the person whose viewpoint does not align with ours, making them insignificant. This is a very slippery slope to travel because lack of trust and skepticism set in.
Capitalism and the pursuit for material wealth creates a self-focused mentality. It can produce ingenuity but if we are not careful, we find ourselves not considering the needs of people around us.
Attitude is everything! Change attitudes, and change lives. This concept is both simplistic and effective.
